CA Treating
Copper Azole (CA) is a water-based wood pesticide and preservative providing protection from termites and fungal decay for residential and commercial applications. Copper acts as the primary fungicide, preventing rot and decay. Azole (tebuconazole/propiconazole) protects the wood against copper-tolerant fungi.
Tanatone is a concentrated brown dye additive used during the treating process. It provides a built-in brown color to the wood at that same time it is being protected against rot and insects.
CA treatment is permitted for residential and commercial uses. CA treatment can be applied at a higher solution strength for material requiring ground contact.
